Thanksgiving Vegan Gravy

The holidays are soon approaching and many habitancy are manufacture their dinning and meal plans. This includes habitancy who have varied interests and standards they want to keep, regardless of the holidays. Some habitancy will wholly enjoy all that a thanksgiving has to offer from the meat, vegetables, and fruits to their beloved holiday desserts. Others will be more concerned in manufacture and enjoying vegan dishes and recipes that do not comprise any type of meats and some not even dairy products.

Recipe for Vegan Gravy

What You Need

¼ cup vegetable oil 1 small diced onion 4 minced garlic cloves ½ cup flour 4 Tablespoons soy sauce 2 ¾ cups vegetable broth ½ teaspoon freshly chopped rosemary

How to Make It

Using a medium size saucepan over a medium heat add the oil. Next, add the diced onions and minced garlic. Saute for practically 5 minutes or until onions and garlic is translucent in appearance and soft in texture.

Gradually add and stir in the flour and soy sauce to form a paste. Using a whisk, moderately blend in the vegetable broth while adding rosemary, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for practically 8 to 10 minutes, while stirring continually as the gravy becomes thicker.

If you choose, you may also want to comprise practically 4 teaspoons of nutritional yeast to this recipe to heighten the flavor while adding the extra cusine you need. If you do, you should add the yeast when you add the vegetable broth and soy sauce and then continue following the directions to make this vegetation type gravy. You may also want to comprise some piquant and colorful side dishes such as corn, carrots, peas, beans, and a salad to your holiday menu to compliment the flavors of all the other foods. Consider a light and creamy sweetmeat to top it all off and you will have a winning combination that will have your family and guests coming back for seconds.
