Weekend in Pitlochry

Pitlochry is a beautiful place in Scotland with fantastic relaxing scenery but has activities and places to see. There is some beautiful scenery and one these places is Perthshire; it is one of the most scenic parts of Scotland with many lochs, rivers and rough hilltops.
There is a place called Queen's View and it is one of the most photographed and visited beauty spots in Scotland. There is many walk areas for you to enjoy and follow, but the scenery can be seen and enjoyed whether you walk or drive.
Pitlochry is a lovely quaint town to stay if you looking for quiet break to relax and take a step back from your busy lifestyle and enjoy some beautiful greenery. Hotels in Pitlochry and hotels in fort William will be able to find you the best offer to give you the break you looking for.
You can visit Atholl in Pitlochry, Edradour on the outskirts of Pitlochry as they have three distilleries. Each distillery is distinctly different, with their unique flavour and distilling process and forming part of the fascinating story of whisky.
Most people visit Pitlochry purely to enjoy the entertainment at the theatre. As it has a world famous Festival Theatre, this is very important to the town, playing up to six plays throughout the main tourist season and a whole other entertainment all year round.
Blair Castle is probably one of the best known castles in Scotland, ancient home to the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. Castle Menzies at Weem is nearby to view as this is another fascinating castle. It will give you a different aspect of Highland Castles.
There are some nice places to eat; whether it is day or night; Golf bar and restaurant is a clubhouse for golfers, visiting parties, local families and tourists. The clubhouse serves a wide range of filled rolls, light meals and home baking throughout the day. It has a fantastic value evening menu which makes the restaurant the ideal place in town to enjoy great company and quality food.
Victoria's restaurant is a family owned, with friendly, attentive service. Serving breakfasts, specialty coffees & teas, patisserie, home baking, lunches & light meals all day and by night a bistro style dinner menu with freshly made Italian pizza, charcoal grilled steaks, seafood, burgers, and vegetarian dishes.
